The present portal 'www.rentaroof.in' including its domain name and mobile application is exclusively owned, controlled and operated by M/s Blue Reef Real Estate Pvt. Ltd. hereinafter referred to as the 'Company'. Users to the Company's website and/or its mobile applications are bound by the present policy. This policy is not only framed for binding the users to its terms but also features about protecting their data and respecting their privacy.

 

The present policy without prior notification to the User(s) is updated from time to time due to improvements, amendments in laws or for any other reasons not stated herein at the sole discretion of the Company. Users to make sure to go through the policy every time they use, subscribe, and/or share information on the present web portal or its ancillary mobile application as the present policy acts as a legal binding contract between the User(s) and the Company.

 

It becomes the responsibility of the Users to read this policy and make sure they agree with it before using the portal and/or availing services of the Company. On the contrary if users do not agree to this policy, they may kindly refrain themselves from using the said web portal, domain and/or mobile application or using, subscribing to the services offered by the Company and also to restrict from sharing any kind of information. Users also to make sure to go through and agree with the terms and conditions separately uploaded on the present portal and that the present privacy policy shall form integral part of the said terms and conditions. In so far as the User complies with the present policy and terms, he/she is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited privilege to enter, access and use the portal/mobile application. In breach of the present policy or the terms of the portal by the User(s), the Company herein reserves its right to bar or restrict the User(s) from continuing to use the same or availing the services offered by the Company without any prior intimation.

• Property information such as its ownership, address, dimensions, valuation, mortgages, photographs, status, topography etc.,

• Account Information such as login credentials, preferences, web browser information, history including URLs already visited and prospective visitation, etc.

• Marketing preferences like marketing via emails, push notifications etc., 

• Information about how you use our services such as online behaviour, advertisements, etc.

• Search information such as information about user(s) property searches, services availed whether free or paid, clicks, likes, page follows, etc.

• Communication information such as enquiries between user(s), agents and developers, their chats, messages, e-mails, letters, uploaded files, recordings through the Company's portal and/or application etc.

• Feedback, reviews and surveys informations, etc.

The User(s) hereby expressly agrees and permits the Company to collect,  store and process the information provided by the User(s) and to use the same in the manner provided herein the present policy and in terms of the portal.

 

USE OF INFORMATION

The Company may use the collected data of its User(s) in the following ways: 

• Distinguishing user(s) from other users so as to enable the Company and/or its agents to contact you for providing services to its best such as selling or letting out a property, expert opinions, documentations etc. and/or other products, services which the Company believes User(s) might be interested in availing of.

• Enabling its User(s) to save property searches and to do all acts to use their Login accounts.  

• Providing and improving our services.

• Analysing the ways in which the services are being used for personalising experiences such as property alerts, saved searches, recommendations, search criteria etc.

• Security of services provided.

• Choosing trusted partners.

• Enabling Company's agents, developers etc. to understand your interests and priorities so as to contact you or showing only relevant advertisements, information, advertisements by acquaintances etc.

• Training our employees, agents etc and to use information if something goes wrong.

• Publishing and/or removal of feedback, surveys, reviews etc. on the portal.

• Troubleshooting problems, providing customer support, resolving disputes.

• To send you notifications including but not limited to offers, promotions, change of policy or terms etc.

• Sharing of information with prospective shareholders of the Company.

• Legal purposes including sharing of information to judicial, quasi-judicial, government and/or concerned authorities.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that the Company also uses Google Analytics, Google Adwords, segment cookies as per cookies policy and all other means to collect, store, retrieve, legitimately use the data of its user(s) to which the latter acknowledges and agrees unequivocally.  

 

CHANGES TO INFORMATION PROVIDED

 User(s) can opt for changes to their information by rectifying, erasing, completion, restricting, objections to their information. User can choose not to provide data but which may lead to limited or no access to the services/products offered. Users may also opt for turning off cookies. User(s) may withdraw their consent and choose not to use their data for marketing or any other purposes by the Company by simply unsubscribing from their marketing preferences or by sending an email to us at support@rentaroof.in 

 The Company hereby reserves its rights to avail appropriate legal remedies for any wrong and/or illicit information provided by the user(s) resulting damage(s) to anyone concerned.  
 

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

The Company may disclose information of the user(s) with third parties (including corporate entities or individuals) providing services to the Company subject to the agreements with the latter to keep data of its user(s) secure and not to use it for any other purposes. The information is also shared by the Company to its agents and/or developers so as to enable them to provide you the best services. All the information of user(s) available on the present portal shall be used for the purpose of availing the services available on the present portal. The User(s) can opt for the information which it feels to be treated as confidential or protected by simply contacting the way through written communication (Email). However where user(s) consents to disclosure of said information by not opting for the same to be confidential, the Company shall not be liable for any claims arising thereof. Any information found to be a part of public domain shall not be treated as protected information and the Company in no way shall be liable in case of misuse/illicit handling and the user(s) hereto indemnify the Company in said regards. The Company may also share the information of user(s) to its subsidiaries, sister concerns, prospective shareholders again for the legitimate purposes as stated above. The User is aware that the Website/Company may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or if the Website/Company in good faith believes that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. The Website/Company may also disclose the User's personal information to law enforcement offices, third party rights owners, or other third parties if it believes that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce the Terms or Policy; respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of its users, or the general public. The User is further aware that the Website/Company and its affiliates may share / sell some or all of the User's personal information with other business entities should the Company/Website (or its assets) plan to merge with, or be acquired by such business entity, or in the event of re-organization, amalgamation, or restructuring of the Company's business. Such business entity or new entity will continue to be bound by the   Terms and Policy, as may be amended from time to time. The user(s) hereby grants permission to the Company to use its data for all legal purposes considering the interests of the user(s).

User(s) may also withdraw their consent of disclosing any of their information by writing to the Company or tools provided on the portal/application.   

 

Third Party Advertisements/Promotions

The present portal and its mobile application contain links to other websites and advertisements of third parties which may collect information of the User(s) to which this policy does not apply. User(s) are required to check the privacy policy of such other website, advertisements before sharing their data there and in case of any claim arising thereof, the user(s) hereto indemnify the Company as the Company shall not be responsible for the same.

   

Security & Compliance of User Data 

Transactions on the Website are secure and protected. Any information entered by the User when transacting on the Website is encrypted to protect the User against unintentional disclosure to third parties. The User's credit and debit card information is not received, stored by or retained by the Company/ Website in any manner. This information is supplied by the User directly to the relevant payment gateway which is authorized to handle the information provided, and is compliant with the regulations and requirements of various banks and institutions and payment franchisees that it is associated with.

 

STORAGE OF INFORMATION

The data collected by us is processed at our offices in Delhi, India and may also be outsourced to third party data processing facilities subject to consideration of security and privacy of our User(s). The data shall remain on our servers for long enough to carry out our tasks/services depending upon the type of data and the way of its usage. Due diligence is observed that the data is not lost, distorted, stolen, or misused in any form. Even after the User(s) withdrawing their consent, their basic personal information is still saved on our servers for legal compliances, statutory, government, judicial, quasi-judicial or for other purposes for which need may arise. As the storage and processing of information involves risk, the User(s) hereby understands the same and keeps indemnify the Company from any sort of prospective claims.

APPLICABILITY OF LAWS & JURISDICTION TO DISPUTES 

The policy herein is in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and comply by the laws of the land. 

In case of any dispute, the user(s) and the Company shall try to resolve the dispute amicably amongst themselves. In the event no resolution is reached within 90 days of either party communicating the existence of a dispute to the other Party, the dispute shall be subject to the laws of India and shall be triable subject to jurisdiction of Courts of law in Delhi, India.   

User(s) agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and hereby gives his/her consent to be bound by the same in consonance to the Terms of Use of the present portal.

User visiting any page of the present Website and/or mobile application or using any of the services provided on the same shall be deemed to signify the unequivocal acceptance of this Policy and the aforementioned Terms, and the User expressly agrees to be bound by the same.
